Mission

ounded in 2005, You Can Make It Home Ownership Center (YCMIHOC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, empowering Middle Tennessee residents to achieve their goals of financial well-being and home ownership.

This is accomplished through certified education and counseling programs that guide low to moderate income participants in increasing their financial literacy, establishing self-sufficiency, and understanding the processes leading to home ownership. By educating participants to cultivate a new mindset towards finances and home ownership, YCMIHOC undoubtedly contributes to the future of local economic stability and community vitality.

Assisted over 324 people in buying their first home through its Home Buyer Education Program which produced $85,233,993.00 in approved mortgage loans through its lending partners in both rural and urban markets.

2023-2024

YCMIHOC assisted over 506 people in buying their first home through its Home Buyer Education Program which produced $126,274,369.00 in approved mortgage loans through its lending partners in both rural and urban markets.

2021-2022

YCMIHOC assisted over 185 people in buying their first home through its Home Buyer Education Program which produced $41,636,881.00 in approved mortgage loans through its lending partners in both rural and urban markets.

2019-2020

YCMIHOC assisted over 320 people in buying their first home through its Home Buyer Education Program which produced $61,083,068.00 in approved mortgage loans through its lending partners in both rural and urban markets.

2018-2019

YCMIHOC assisted over 484 people in buying their first home through its Home Buyer Education Program which produced $82,254,560 in approved mortgage loans through its lending partners in both rural and urban markets.

2013

YCMIHOC assisted over 430 people in buying their first home through its Home Buyer Education Program which produced $52,751,794.00 in approved mortgage loans through its lending partners in both rural and urban markets.

2010

THDA ranked YCMIHOC as the number-one organization of its kind in Tennessee for home buyers' education with respect to the number of clients served and the value of approved loans.
